Privacy Policy

Short version: Beach Sands can create an anonymous account for cloud save. It does not ask for an email address, password, or social login. Optional rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob and may involve additional device and advertising information.

Information we handle

Anonymous account and cloud save

When cloud save is used, Beach Sands creates or refreshes an anonymous Supabase account. The app does not collect an email address, password, name, or social-login account for this feature.

The cloud save service associates a random account identifier and a randomly generated Support ID with the account. The saved document can include puzzle progress, the current board, statistics, settings, Journey progress, Daily Challenge progress, in-game currency, inventory, and other state needed to restore the game.

Gameplay analytics

Beach Sands sends limited gameplay and product-interaction events to help us understand reliability and feature use. Events may include game started, game completed, game abandoned, vase added, hint used, tool or theme purchased, and rewarded-ad claimed. Events include technical metadata such as an event identifier, timestamp, app version, platform, and gameplay properties, and are associated with the anonymous account when available.

Rewarded advertising

Beach Sands uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK for optional rewarded video ads. Google may process information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, and diagnostic or performance information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement. The exact information and purposes depend on the SDK version, device settings, region, and consent choices. See Google's iOS SDK data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy.

Where required, Google's consent tools present choices for advertising and privacy regulations. The current Beach Sands release does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission for IDFA access.

Support requests

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in that message. To help with cloud-save issues, you can include the Support ID shown in Settings → Cloud Save. Do not send passwords or other sensitive information.

How we use information

• Provide, restore, and synchronize cloud save.
• Display a Support ID so we can investigate cloud-save problems.
• Measure gameplay reliability and improve the app.
• Deliver and measure optional rewarded advertising.
• Respond to support requests and protect the service from abuse.

Service providers and sharing

We use Supabase for anonymous authentication, cloud storage, and backend services. We use Google Mobile Ads for rewarded advertising and related measurement. These providers process information on our behalf or for their own service purposes under their respective policies. We do not sell the app-controlled cloud-save or gameplay-analytics data ourselves.

Retention and deletion

You can permanently delete the anonymous account and associated app-controlled cloud data from Settings → Cloud Save → Delete Account & Cloud Data. The app also removes the associated local account data. If deletion is interrupted, the app provides a retry path and remains fail-closed until deletion is confirmed.

We may retain a minimal deletion-request record for security, reconciliation, and audit purposes. It is not used to restore the deleted account. Google's retention of information collected by its advertising SDK is governed by Google's policies and controls.

Your choices

• You may play Beach Sands without an email, password, or social login.
• Rewarded ads are optional; you can continue playing without watching one.
• You can request deletion through the in-app account-deletion control.
• Where applicable, use the consent and privacy choices presented by Google's consent tools.

Security

We use access-controlled backend services and authenticated requests to protect cloud-save data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not include sensitive personal information in support requests.

Children

Beach Sands does not ask players to provide names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information. Parents or guardians with questions may contact us at [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the effective date.
